Sianies Kitchen – our ethos
Sianies Kitchen is so much more than just our name, it’s our entire way of life! We are committed to growing and using our own sustainable, produce wherever possible. We grow the majority of the fruit and vegetables used in our preserves and events, keeping food miles to a minimum. We don’t use artificial fertilisers or chemicals on our crops. Everything is grown as organically as possible, on site in no dig beds, fruit cage and our greenhouse. Nothing goes to waste – we even create compost to feed our new crops. Our chickens are free to roam our mixed pasture, providing beautiful fresh eggs for our baking. The beehives belonging to Radiance Honey provide two batches annually, and of course naturally pollinate our crops and flowers. All the flowers for our table arrangements are grown on site, and picked fresh for display.

Best of the Season
Our Seasonal Dining Events are designed to make the most of the produce available at it’s peak. For example, throughout the year we grow and pick beautiful pink Rhubarb in the Spring; Mediterranean Summer Vegetables, heritage tomatoes and soft fruits; Autumn squashes, Apples, and Winter Brassicas. We also have a well established herb garden. We use all of these ingredients to create our Seasonal Menus, from Summer Suppers to Hearty Winter fare. We offer Spring, Summer and Autumn Dining events and a Christmas Lunch.

Sianie’s Kitchen is a small, exclusive venue in the 18th Century thatched Wheelwright’s barn, with room for up to 16 diners. As such, pre-booking is essential. In warmer months you may be dining outside under the stars on the patio area of the Barn. In cooler months, you will dine inside the cosy barn.

Spring, Summer and Autumn Events offer a choice of: two starters (one vegetarian), three main courses (vegetarian, pescatarian, meat), and two desserts. Main courses are served with seasonal vegetables. Followed by tea and coffee. We are not licensed, but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol (we do supply the glasses). Please check our calendar for The Seasonal Dining dates as pre-booking is essential. The cost is £30 per person, payable in advance with your menu choices.
“The enclosed is a token of appreciation from us and also Joanne and Lewis for a lovely evening on Saturday. Everybody had a great time and thought the food was amazing”

Our Christmas Lunch is 3 courses. We start with a homemade seasonal vegetable soup, served with fresh local bread. Full Christmas dinner is served with all the trimmings as a carvery. There is a choice of two homemade desserts: vegetarian mince pies or chocolate yule log with Cointreau cream, followed by tea and coffee. The cost is £30 per person.
